A Viva Voz: Softening the Body to Free the Voice

enero 27, 2026 en Ciudad de México

Through restful yin yoga and playful vocal exploration, we’ll create a space to nurture safety, presence, and authentic expression.

Many of us long to express ourselves more freely — to sing, speak, and share our truth — yet the body holds memories of tension, fear, and self-protection. A Viva Voz is a nurturing 4-week series designed to help you gently unwind those patterns and rediscover your voice from a grounded, embodied place.

Each 2-hour session begins with a restorative yoga practice, inviting your nervous system into a state of deep relaxation while softening the fascia and releasing stored tension. From this place of safety and openness, we’ll explore vocal activation practices that are playful, nourishing, and deeply human — guiding you into connection with your breath, your body, your sound, and your aliveness.

Together we’ll slow down, listen inward, and allow expression to arise naturally. You’ll be held in an encouraging and non-judgmental space to be heard, witnessed, and supported — whether you already love to sing or feel shy and uncertain. This series is about coming home to your voice, feeling at ease in your body, and remembering that your expression is welcome.

What We’ll Explore

🌿 Yin Yoga: Softening Into Safety

Yin yoga invites us to slow down. Through long, supported postures we gently release layers of tension held in the fascia and give the nervous system permission to rest. This practice:

  • supports a parasympathetic (“rest & restore”) state
  • increases sensitivity to subtle sensation and inner awareness
  • builds trust and safety within the body
  • creates space — physically, emotionally, and energetically

As the body softens, the voice has room to breathe.

🎶 Vocal Activation: Opening to Expression

From relaxation, we enter into sound. Vocal activation will include gentle, guided practices to explore your voice with curiosity and connection, not pressure. Together we’ll:

  • reconnect with breath as the foundation of expression
  • play with tone, vibration, resonance, and sound
  • explore group sounding & simple singing practices
  • experience being heard and held in community

This is not about performance — it is about expression, regulation, creativity, and freedom.
