Description: Step into a world of wonder and play in this 90-minute workshop combining the art of magic with the joy of improv. Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned performer, this session is designed to delight and invite all experience levels.

You’ll:

• Learn simple, impressive magic tricks (with materials you get to keep)
• Play low-pressure improv games that spark laughter and connection
• Build confidence while trying something new
• Meet fun, open-minded people who are game for these activities
• Explore tools for creativity and play that you can bring into your everyday life

Participation is by donation at the workshop. No donation is required to take part. Donations support #Hashtag Gallery, which is providing the space.

In exchange for free tickets, video and photos will be taken during the workshop for marketing purposes, including use in materials such as a promo video and social media. Participants will not be tagged.

Time: Doors open at 6:45, workshop from 7:00pm–8:30pm

About the instructor: Chris Britt is a professional magician and improv teacher who has performed across the North America, Europe, and Asia. He studied improv at The Second City Conservatory and trained in magic with Jeff McBride at the McBride Mystery School in Las Vegas. His workshops blend close-up magic, interactive theater, and years of experience helping people connect, laugh, and surprise themselves.
